I absolutely love this potato ricer! It was so easy to use,and I tested it out making mash potatoes,and they turned out so smooth and creamy! I will be honest, I was very unfamiliar with what a potato ricer was,until I came across this product and I am so happy I got to try it out. It was not super heavy to hold and when you cook your potatoes or whatever you put in the ricer to push through,there is nothing hard about pushing it through,and I thought it was at first,until I realized I was just pushing the bottom of the ricer together with the upper part and there was nothing else to push through! I told you I did not know what a potato ricer was so forgive me! lol I also found out why they called it a potato ricer is because when you push the potato through,it comes through the other end looking like little pieces of rice! I know you are probably wondering for those that know I love to cook,why I did not know what a potato ricer was,it is because I was taught the old school way either by using a mash potato masher, or blender,so this type of thing was never used. I can definitely understand the concept of making baby food with it,because it makes it smooth enough for a baby to not choke on lumpy food that goes through it. You will never have to worry about that issue. I will use this frequently when I am in the mood for smooth and creamy mash potatoes,sweet potatoes,and anything else I can think to use with it. This is a highly recommended buy,and it being dishwasher safe,makes for a quick and easy clean up! Thank you priority chef!
